Hand Injury Prevention
Hands are exposed to pinch points, blades, sharp edges, chemical contact, and repetitive force. Before starting a task, identify where hands could be caught, cut, crushed, burned, or exposed. Use the correct glove for the hazard, but remember gloves do not make rotating equipment safe. Keep hands out of line-of-fire zones and use tools instead of fingers whenever possible.
